Bank holiday Monday afternoon and I am playing with light and shade, texture and composition. Something I’ve not done in over thirty years. I have a goal in mind but I need to see if I can not only remember how to paint but also develop my skills sufficiently enough to achieve what I want. If nothing else I will have achieved a relaxing time in the garden just relishing observing my surroundings. It is a wonderful tool for practising #mindfulness and #beinginthemoment listening to the sounds and feeling the #energy of the #trees and #earth. #lockdownart
