30 plus years in business of one form or another has offered plenty of insights and understandings as well as lots of ‘mistakes’ that have shown me a thing or two. Every incarnation of my ‘self-employed’ activity has taken me into varied in interesting corners of the world ensuring that nothing has ever been dull or boring.

Originally I was an artist-in-the-garret working for the love of my art and craft designing and making unusual stained glass windows and objets d’art. (pictures to be posted soon). Many years in the family business in luxury fashion and textiles (www.charles-patricia-lester.co.uk) meant that I was basically brought up with business being injected into my blood. Several variations on a theme of running my own small arts and design business took me to various realms meeting some extraordinary people.
